With an affinity for good food and things neatly organised, this array of succulent sandwiches have hit the sweet spot. To Kelly Pratt, making a sandwich is an art form, and she has set out to make the perfect sandwich for each US state.

Super cool illustrative work by PaperBeatsScissors portraying life lessons learnt through video games. The series is adequately titled ‘Stuff I learned from Video Games’ and includes our favourite hero’s in the usual line up (bar one I would have liked to see).

More amazing work from illustrator Alex Marcou from London. After graduating from Plymouth University, Marcou has been doing freelance work for clients such as Cisco, Hewlett Packard, Nike and many others.

Ok so, I’m sure we can expect the new iPhone 5 to come out sometime this year, which means that there will be a wealth of concepts and foreseen designs based on Apple’s history and maybe some far fetched versions as well.

The title is pretty much all you need to know…. but if you’re looking for a bit more, this short film is a really serene short that manages to capture some of sights that make me (and suspect lots of others) love London.

Some really interesting and detailed working coming from Poland native Grzegorz Domaradzki aka Gabz. Personally there’s not much to say except that I am thoroughly enjoying, appreciating and envying his drawing talent and work.

RIP Adam Yauch. This tribute to you is fitting of you, your skills, quality music and humour that you brought to the Beastie Boys and also to Hip Hop. To the rest of you lot – Click play to check out this great version of the iconic Spike Jonze directed video for Sabotage.

Almost all of us drink coffee like it’s a religion (I know I do), and some like to go as far as to find out the processes and history behind the cup we drink. Tony Shin has sent us this super cool/informative graphic detailing some of the history and effects coffee has on us. It’s quite interesting, and done in a nice screen printed style.

We haven’t done any music reviews lately so here’s a little treat. Who are the High Hopes Society? Well… their aim is to collaborate as a collective with different aspects of media, music, art, visuals, and all things of a similar nature, which ultimately creates a multifaceted project that rises above the average band.

BADBADNOTGOOD have been making a name for themselves over the past year. They first came to my attention as a jazz group that played J Dilla’s Donuts album in its entirety. The recording was rough but great. They have since gone into the studio and put their performance to tape. For the better as it happens, especially as they decided to release these recordings for free.
